Rose & Star Publishing was founded in 2021 by author Jeanette Rose.

Jeanette had maintained a LLC for tax reasons (as all indie authors should) and had a group of close friends all on the cusp of publishing their debut novels. She found that since the task of self publishing is such a daunting and overwhelming process, and traditional publishers aren’t always a option for various reasons, Jeanette found a gap in the market for a publishing process which was more author lead.

After publishing two of her own books, Jeanette reached out to one of her friends who was struggling with her self publishing journey and from the, the company flourished.

Rose & Star publishing strives to create a new kind of experience for authors, in between indie and traditional publishing. We aim to create an environment where the authors feel heard and understood along with have actual input with regards to marketing and design.

Rose & Star prides itself on having a team of individuals devoted to elevating authors and taking them to the next level, providing the support of a traditional publishing house but with the freedoms of independent publishing.

Jeanette became interested in writing when she majored in Classical Civilization with a minor in Latin from Tulane University. She then went on to get her Law Degree and obviously couldn’t function in the real world, so she got a third degree.
